Crockpot Chicken And Dumplin's
Y'all this will be the easiest meal you ever make. And probably the most delicious. My husband gets so excited when he hears that this on the menu for dinner! It is perfect to stick in the crockpot on a busy day. I can't wait to hear if its a hit at your house too!

3 Chicken Breasts (boneless,skinless)
2 Cans-Cream of Chicken
2 Cans-Chicken Broth
2 tbsp. Butter
A pinch or two of  Parsley
 1 can of Original Buscuits

Toss all of the above, BESIDES the buscuits, in the crockpot on high for 5-7 hours.
Shred chicken after the soup has cooked all day.
Tear apart a can of buscuits and drop them throughout the soup.
Continue to cook for 30 min or until the buscuits are ready.
Enjoy!!

Pettit House Daily Cleaning Chart

Here is a little glimpse into my obsessive-tidiness-disorder. I'm sure that's a thing, right? I love to clean but not quite OCD about it...yet. Here are some great tasks to implement daily! This works great for our busy schedule, It also makes it easier for us to work together to keep our home smelling fresh! This task list also has Reisse's daily chores as well; he loves helping around the house and earning stickers for his chart (stay tuned on a post about it later)!
If anyone has any great chemical free cleaners they use I would LOVE some suggestions!

World's Best Burritos

You guys.. If you haven't tried FreeBirds Burritos your missing out. Go to your maps and find your nearest one. It is worth the drive!! Lucky for me its only about 3 miles from my house!

The vibe in the restaurant is very casual and hipster. I love their fresh ingredients and their build-your-own option! Our little guys love their queso and cookies! Because that's the most important part! *insert eye roll and sarcastic tone*

Being That Mom..

With the start of school fast approaching, this mama is becoming very emotional. My Reisse will be starting his first year in prek-3. He has never routinely gone to daycare or school before so this will be a huge adjustment for him (well me actually). Last night I literally cried even thinking about it. I have made my pro and con list, and have it running through my head daily. He will get to be around other kids and get some social time, and he will learn so much in this classroom environment. But we live in a scary world, and the fact that I am a worrier has me so emotional over this! Will he make friends? Will the other kids be nice to him? What if he needs help with his lunch? What if he has a potty accident? I realize that I can see the school from my house and being a member of the PTO I can be at the school to help with anything they may need, but WHAT IF HE NEEDS ME??

A sweet refreshing treat to cool down.. Because lets be real popsicles are the only food group in the summer in Texas. My boys love these things!

That Plexus Mama that Keeps Posting..

So if you follow me on Instagram or Facebook then you have seen my journey with Plexus. After nine months with this amazing company and consistently taking these products, I can honestly say I have never felt better! I am a busy mama of two rowdy boys, a military spouse, and run my own boss. Nine months ago, I was just an exhausted mom looking for an all natural supplement to get me where I NEEDED  to be. Raising two boys and starting our second deployment had my anxiety through the roof. Dieting and exercise was not enough for me! So I decided to invest in my health and get to the root of my issues. Not only have I lost 32 pounds but I no longer suffer from my anxiety, menstrual cramping is non-existent (which is a huge thing if you know me), my skin is better than ever, and I no longer have to "nap when the boys nap" like the saying goes. This all natural, sustained energy is unlike any I have ever had! Fueling my body with nutrients instead of energy drinks, coffee, or other supplements gave me my life back! I stopped masking my symptoms and turned to Plexus! Best decision I could make for myself!

I am not writing this to "make a buck" off of you. I share my story because I am PASSIONATE in believing everyone could benefit from these products if they use them correctly! My inbox is constantly flooded with people thanking me for continuously posting about my journey because it convinced them to try the products and allowed their lives to be changed as well! So I'm ending this with one thing. Research Gut Health and realize how amazing it can be when you have a good gut flora. If you have tried these products before and they didn't work for you, message me because (1.) you probably weren't consistent or doing it correctly or (2.) you could be taking the wrong products for your goal! Let me help you get healthy from the inside!!

SeaWorld-San Antonio 2016

Well let's just start by saying WOW! San Antonio SeaWorld was the first time each of us had ever been to experience a Sea World. So we were all hoping it was as amazing as we had always dreamed it would be, well maybe just I was! I have always been a huge dolphin lover, so that was of course our first stop!
They are such beautiful creatures and were all ready to play while we were there! Next time we will be doing the discovery experience so we can swim and feed them! The boys really liked that you could go downstairs and see them swimming!

The Sesame Bay of Play was our next stop and it was much needed! The Texas heat is no joke, we were ready to cool off! This was one of the highlights of trip for the boys! The huge splash pad was great for all ages and was not crowded at all!
*p.s. swim shoes are a must here!!!*

The Sesame Street characters were one of Reisse's favorite things! He made us scout out Oscar our entire trip! They also preform shows, they are definitely something to stop and check out!

We watched the One Ocean show and it was nothing short of amazing! These animals are such beautiful and brilliant creatures, watching them during the show was incredible!

Few tips for your trip to SeaWorld...
-go in to the restaurant or food shops and get a FREE cup of water
-bring your own water bottle to transfer it, they do not give you lids or straws!
-bring snacks!
-have your swimsuits on under your clothes, the restroom and changing rooms were not clean and so crowded
-download the sea world app for showtimes and a map
-we went later in the day to avoid large crowds and that helped alot

Wait We Live Where?

Well the time had come a few weeks ago to hope on the, oh so lovely on-post housing list. So I sent in all the paperwork.. you know the usual, birth certificate, marriage license, pint of blood, first grade spelling test, and photos of every animal I have ever owned (just teasing, I love the high security measures)! So then it was the waiting game, which lets be real that's the hardest part! Just hoping, and wishing, and crossing your fingers (and toes) that you don't get a dump or the dud of the neighborhood! And THEN, we got the call that we had been placed in a house! Of course we couldn't get an address for security reasons (but in a non-military life we would NEVER rent a house site unseen LOL). But if you know me, then you know that my patience is definitely something I should work on and I have friends in all the right places, literally. My Plexus sister just so happen to live down the street and went to scope the house out that we would now call our home for the next...well let's be real this is our 6th home in the past year and a half, so we will just say FOR NOW! We got a charming little house in a quiet neighborhood beside Chris' work. It may not be the most glamorous, but we can't wait to make it ours! Pics to come!
